A stone attack took place against the municipal building in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye. In the incident, which occurred around 21:00 in the evening, an unidentified person broke the windows of the municipality's accounting department with stones. Police teams have launched an operation to apprehend the suspect, identified as M.K., who fled after the attack.
According to ANKA, Mayor Mustafa Mert Olcar reacted strongly to the attack, stating that the incident was an attack on the people of Kadirli.

STRONG REACTION FROM MAYOR OLCAR
In a statement following the attack, Mayor Olcar said, "I do not accept this attack on the Kadirli Municipality. This is an act committed against the people of Kadirli. Our municipality is not under anyone's monopoly, and we will not take a step back due to such attacks. We were elected with 48 percent of the vote in the March 31, 2024 elections, and we are continuing this duty. We want the perpetrators of the attack to be caught as soon as possible and held accountable before the law."

Police teams have launched a wide-scale investigation to apprehend the attacker. It was stated that developments regarding the incident will be shared with the public.
