Striking comments on İmamoğlu and Erdoğan from Putin's right-hand man Aleksandr Dugin
Russian strategist Aleksandr Dugin made striking statements regarding political developments in Turkey, noting that public support for President Erdoğan is waning.
Political scientist Prof. Dr. Aleksandr Dugin, known for his closeness to Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressed his criticisms of President Erdoğan in an interview where he evaluated the political atmosphere in Turkey.
Responding to questions from Hakan Kılıç on Polemik Haber, Dugin stated that the public in Turkey no longer sees a future with Erdoğan and that this situation is a natural outcome.
Aleksandr Dugin said, "I see two main elements behind the protests in Turkey.
There is a serious objection to Erdoğan. Some strange decisions made by his administration have drawn the public's reaction.
His authority and the respect felt for him have diminished.
The Turkish people are a large community, and it is not enough to just tell them 'do this'.
A clear vision for the future must be presented."
Dugin also added, "The public is saying 'enough is enough with Erdoğan'.
"If you do not respect your people, your people will stop respecting you," he said.
These statements offer an important perspective on the current political situation in Turkey.
