According to the report by Evren Demirdaş from Sözcü; in the statement made by the Ministry of Interior, it was announced that Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu was appointed as the Deputy Mayor to replace the dismissed DEM Party Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak.

Ovacık District Governor Hüseyin Şamil Sözen was appointed to replace CHP Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül. District Governor Hüseyin Şamil Sözen, who was appointed as the trustee to replace Sarıgül, went to the municipality and began his duties as Deputy Mayor.

On the other hand, Hüseyin Şamil Sözen had been appointed as the Ovacık District Governor on November 2 via Presidential Decrees.

Following his appointment, Sözen began his duties on November 18.
