It has emerged that AKP Istanbul MP Süleyman Soylu, who had remained silent after handing over the Ministry of Interior to Ali Yerlikaya, has started working for an IMM candidacy.

Now it is said that this is Süleyman Soylu's goal, and that he is in communication with people close to the headquarters and the palace for this. According to the insider information I received, Süleyman Soylu is a candidate and is working accordingly. He is trying to establish a line with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the people around him."
Stating that he spoke with a former AKP minister, Uğuroğlu conveyed the former minister's comments as follows:
"'This plan is two-staged,' he explained. Süleyman Soylu may also have the thought of regaining his lost reputation and first winning Istanbul, and then taking a step to replace Erdoğan."
