Striking poll result in İzmir: Soyer loses lead to Utku Gümrükçü

In the poll for İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Çiğli Mayor Utku Gümrükçü surpassed the incumbent mayor, Tunç Soyer.
In the poll featuring 7 names, Çiğli Mayor Utku Gümrükçü came in first with 46.9 percent of the vote.
Tunç Soyer ranked second with 41.5 percent, while AKP deputy Hamza Dağ ranked third with 36.5 percent.
Ümit Özlale, nominated by the İYİ Party, placed 5th with 30.6 percent, behind Ali Engin.
