Striking statement from Ümit Özdağ regarding the 2023 elections: 'Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu built this regime together'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ made statements regarding the 2023 elections and the YSK debates on the program "Mevzular Açık Mikrofon" (Issues Open Microphone) broadcast on Babala TV. Evaluating the process that took place after the election, Özdağ criticized the opposition's approach.

Speaking on the program, Özdağ addressed Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's remarks regarding the decision not to go to the YSK building, using striking language.

"They did not take the election to the ECHR. Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu built this regime together," said Özdağ, continuing his criticisms of the election process.

BROUGHT KILIÇDAROĞLU'S WORDS TO THE AGENDA

Özdağ also recalled Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's statement, "We thought about marching, but there were armed men on the road," during the program.

Reacting to this statement, Özdağ said, "This is a disastrous statement. It means, 'We know the Constitution is being violated, but we allowed it because we were afraid for our lives.'"

Continuing his remarks, Özdağ stated, "If you are afraid for your life, don't come out and say 'I am an opposition member.' Furthermore, there were no armed men on the road either."
