Süleyman Soylu responds to rumors of a return to the cabinet: 'It wouldn't even cross the mind of AI'

As the process for the 8th Grand Ordinary Congress of the AKP approaches, claims regarding changes in duties within the party have come to the agenda.

With only days left until the congress to be held in Ankara on February 23, Nefes newspaper columnist Nuray Babacan alleged that former Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu was bored with his commission chairmanship and wanted to take a role in the Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK). Responding to these claims via social media, Soylu denied the speculations made about him.

'IT WOULDN'T EVEN CROSS THE MIND OF AI'

In a post on his social media account regarding the claims, Soylu stated, "A 'courier' who pushes the boundaries in writing speculations that wouldn't even cross the mind of artificial intelligence has once again scripted a reading of my intentions," emphasizing that the reports in question were false. Recalling that those who spread rumors in the past were called "disreputable," Soylu made a harsh criticism, saying, "Now they are giving them columnist positions."
