Süleyman Soylu warns Israel: 'We will give hundreds of thousands of martyrs if necessary, Israel will be wiped off the map'
AKP Istanbul MP Süleyman Soylu made significant statements regarding humanitarian crises in the Middle East and threats against Turkey during an Eid celebration event in Gaziosmanpaşa. Sending a clear message to Israel, Soylu stated that Turkey could pay heavy prices if necessary.
Former Interior Minister and AKP Istanbul MP Süleyman Soylu drew attention to the ongoing wave of violence in the Islamic world during his speech at the Eid al-Fitr celebrations. Addressing the civilian deaths in Gaza, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Lebanon, Soylu stated that the suffering in the region has overshadowed the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. He also shared information regarding young girls killed in Iran, stating, "These people have one common feature: they are Muslims."
Emphasizing the spirit of peace and solidarity of the holiday, Soylu expressed his wish for society to reach more peaceful days in unity and solidarity.
In a part of his speech, Soylu argued that Turkey is also being deliberately drawn into the crises occurring in the region, stating, "They are trying to pull Turkey into this fire as well. However, our President's determined and cautious stance presents an important balancing factor against these traps."
"ISRAEL CAN BE REACHED FROM HATAY IN 5 HOURS"
The most striking part of Süleyman Soylu's speech was the direct message he gave to Israel. Using the words, "Perhaps they are not aware, but we are neighbors with Israel. Israel is only 5 hours away from Hatay. God forbid, if they attempt to do to us what they are doing to Muslims, we will give 300-400 thousand martyrs, but with God's permission, there will be no country left called Israel," Soylu reiterated that Turkey can display a determined stance for regional security at the cost of heavy losses if necessary.
