AKP İstanbul MP and former Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu made notable assessments regarding the “fund fraud” debates and the names associated with the scandal.
In his statement, Soylu did not name anyone directly, but emphasized the party and the cause, sending a message that those who do wrong cannot be protected.
Soylu stated, “We are members of a cause for a certain period. Whoever among us does wrong, they are the ones who are wrong and they are out. The cause is the cause of our nation.”
Süleyman Soylu stated that individuals who fall into error or self-interest cannot be allowed to harm the cause, adding, “Whoever does wrong, whoever falls short, whoever makes a mistake as a human, whoever is greedy, this cause has no business with them. We cannot tolerate anyone, any individual, harming this cause.”
Stating that the cause has reached today through great sacrifices, Soylu also gave a message of commitment to the national will.
AKP’s Soylu said, “We cannot do wrong to our nation. Whatever the nation commands, we are at its disposal until the end. It is that simple. It is that clear.”
