Surprising results in general election poll: Here is the latest status of party vote shares

Public opinion research company Ser-Ar has published a general election poll.

Citizens participating in the survey were asked the question, 'If a general election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?' This poll brought interesting results with it.

THE LOSS OF BLOOD IN AKP CONTINUES

As a result of the poll, the loss continues for the ruling party AKP. The AKP, which received 35.58 percent of the vote in the 2023 general elections, was measured at 27 percent in this poll.

CHP MAINTAINS ITS UPWARD TREND

It is observed that the rise continues for the CHP, which emerged as the leading party in the March 31 Local Administration elections. The vote share of the CHP, which received 25 percent in 2023 and 37 percent in the subsequent municipal elections, was determined to be 31.9 percent in this poll. With this vote share, the Republican People's Party appears as the leading party across Turkey.

In addition to these two parties, it was revealed that the vote shares of the DEM Party and the MHP are approximately around 9 percent.

SHARP DECLINE IN IYI PARTY

One of the most striking details of the poll was the vote share received by the İYİ Party. The vote share of the İYİ Party, which received 9.9 percent in the last general elections, was determined to be 3.3 percent in this poll.
