Tarsus Prison visit from Özgür Özel

Yeni Parti Chairman Özgür Özel visited Tarsus Prison in Mersin and met with the mayors currently held there.

Özel was accompanied on the visit by Bilecik MP Yaşar Tüzün, Yeni Parti Group Deputy Chairman and Mersin MP Ali Mahir Başarır, former Sakarya MP Engin Özkoç, and Diyarbakır MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu. Tarsus Mayor Ali Boltaç was also part of the delegation.

During the visit, Özel and his delegation met with Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer, Yenişehir Mayor Abdullah Özyiğit, and Mezitli Mayor Ahmet Serkan Tuncer.

It was reported that during the meetings, the delegation conveyed messages of solidarity to the imprisoned mayors.
