The exodus continues: Four artists announce their resignation from the CHP
Sabahat Akkiraz, Arif Sağ, Onur Akın, and Semiha Yankı have announced their departure from the CHP through social media posts.
A series of resignation announcements from artists has come from the CHP. Sabahat Akkiraz, Arif Sağ, Onur Akın, and Semiha Yankı announced that they have terminated their party memberships through posts on their social media accounts.
Former CHP İstanbul MP Sabahat Akkiraz announced that she ended her membership via e-Devlet. In her post, Akkiraz recalled her long-standing ties to the party, stating, "I am a member of a family that has been CHP-affiliated for 5 generations and have served as a CHP MP," and indicated that she does not wish to continue on this path with the current leadership.
In her statement, Akkiraz expressed that she will continue her commitment to the Republic, secularism, the Six Arrows, and the goal set by Atatürk, using the words, "We will set out on a new path and say new things."
Arif Sağ also shared a document on his social media account showing that there is no record of his political party membership. Sağ's post was interpreted as a message announcing his decision to resign to the public.

Onur Akın, known for the election songs he composed for the CHP, stated in his post, "We are bidding farewell to our ancestral home with heavy hearts and great sadness. We will return one day... But for now, we are with you with new, brand-new hopes and for the future of our country. May your path be clear, Özgür Özel."

Semiha Yankı also announced that she had terminated her membership with a short message. In her post, Yankı announced her resignation from the CHP using the phrase, "That's it..."
