During this period, 10 deputies joined the CHP from the İYİ Party and the DEVA Party. Following the resignation of deputies who were elected as mayors in the local elections and other resignations, it was recorded that the CHP had 138 deputies as of May 21.
After the absolute nullity decision issued on May 21, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was appointed as the CHP Chairman; during this process, 3 deputies resigned from the party and 9 deputies were referred to the disciplinary board with a request for expulsion.
