In the study, where citizens were asked about their level of satisfaction with their mayor's work and whether they found them successful, municipalities from the AKP, MHP, and CHP stood out.

ORC research organization has announced the data for the most successful metropolitan, provincial, and district mayors of 2023.

İSMAİL HAKKI ESEN STANDS OUT

The study on the 'most successful' provincial mayors of 2023 has been released. In the ranking of the top 5, MHP Çankırı Mayor İsmail Hakkı Esen took the first spot with 63.4 percent, while CHP Bilecik Deputy Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı took second place with 61.9 percent. The other three names are as follows:

3. AKP Sivas Mayor Hilmi Bilgin with 59.3 percent, 4. AKP Yalova Mayor Mustafa Tutuk with 58.5 percent, and 5. CHP Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan with 56.4 percent.

FATMA ŞAHİN AT THE TOP

In the ranking of the 'most successful' metropolitan mayors of 2023, AKP Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin took first place with 60.5 percent. Second place went to Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Osman Gürün (CHP) with 58.4 percent, and third place went to AKP Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Osman Zolan with 57.9 percent.

İMAMOĞLU IN FOURTH PLACE

CHP Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu took fourth place, and CHP Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer took the final spot.

A NOTABLE NAME IN İZMİR

Finally, the data for the 2023 'most successful' district mayors study was shared as follows.

CHP Çiğli Mayor Utku Gümrükçü, who is considered by the Republican People's Party for the İzmir Metropolitan Mayoralty, ranked third on the list with 59.3 percent, while the first place went to CHP Çukurova Mayor Soner Çetin with 63.7 percent, and the second place went to AKP Esenler Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Göksu with 61.8 percent. The other names are as follows:

Fourth, MHP Toroslar Mayor Atsız Afşin Yılmaz with 58.5 percent, and fifth, AKP Nazilli Mayor Kürşat Engin Özcan with 57.5 percent.

The last 5 places were occupied by Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar, Buca Mayor Erhan Kılıç, İzmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet, Eyüpsultan Mayor Deniz Köken, and Yenişehir Mayor Davut Aydın.
