The Republic's 100th anniversary turns into AKP propaganda: Controversial website!

The “www.yuzuncuyil.gov.tr” website, where the 100th-anniversary events are promoted by the Directorate of Communications, has sparked reactions.

It was observed that the words of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan were highlighted on the site, where content regarding the Founder of the Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, should have been featured.

When examining the photo that appears upon entering the site, it is seen that while a photo of Atatürk with young people is featured alongside the text "From Independence to the Future," the other part of the image includes a photo of President Erdoğan with young people.

Furthermore, in response to Atatürk’s words, “O rising new generation. You are the future. We founded the Republic; you are the ones who will elevate it,” the site features Erdoğan’s words directly opposite: “We are preparing the Republic of Turkey, which you called your ‘greatest work,’ for the future as 85 million people with the ‘Century of Turkey’ vision, in a stronger, more prosperous, and more reputable manner.”

The website also includes the "achievements" made over the last 20 years. The website has turned into AKP propaganda. 

The website drew the reaction of citizens just days before the 100th anniversary.
