TRNC President Ersin Tatar visits Azerbaijan for the first time
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Ersin Tatar has arrived in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for the first time to hold official talks.
TRNC President Ersin Tatar has made his first official visit to Azerbaijan.
Tatar was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the capital, Baku, by Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov, Turkey's Ambassador to Baku Cahit Bağcı, TRNC Representative to Baku Ufuk Turganer, TRNC Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, Turkish businesspeople, and other officials.
As part of his contacts in Baku, Ersin Tatar will visit the grave of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev tomorrow, followed by visits to the Azerbaijani and Turkish martyrs' cemeteries. Afterward, Tatar will preside over the opening of the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Promotion Event" in Baku.
Tatar will participate in various programs in Baku until October 16.
