'Trustee meeting for IMM' found in Cem Küçük's WhatsApp messages! Striking Adil Karaismailoğlu claim

Küçük, who was detained by teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was sent to Çorlu Prison after being referred to the courthouse.

While it was noted that Küçük did not want to share his mobile phone password during both his gendarmerie and prosecutor interrogations, it is alleged that the teams continuing the investigation have accessed a portion of the messages.
Journalist Bahadır Özgür stated in a post on his social media account that one of Küçük's WhatsApp messages contained an allegation that former Minister of Transport and Trabzon Deputy Adil Karaismailoğlu held a "trustee meeting" for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on March 19, 2025.

In one of the WhatsApp messages of the arrested Cem Küçük, it is alleged that former Minister of Transport and current Trabzon Deputy Adil Karaismailoğlu held a 'trustee meeting' for the IMM on March 19, 2025.
The allegation that a trustee would be appointed to the IMM had previously come to the political agenda. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had claimed that the government had abandoned this plan following days of protests in Saraçhane, and that it was planned to bring Karaismailoğlu to the head of the IMM.
