Ümit Özdağ reacts to Sırrı Sakık: 'The goal of terrorists in ties and without...'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ reacted to the statement by DEM Party Ağrı MP Sırrı Sakık regarding the phrases "Turk, pride, work, trust," "How happy is the one who says I am a Turk," and "Everything for the motherland" located on mountains.

Sakık had argued that the inscriptions in question "evoke racism" and should be removed. Özdağ responded to this assessment with harsh language in a post on his social media account.

"Their goal was never peace, democracy, or the rule of law," said Özdağ, adding, "The goal of terrorists in ties and without is to gain territory and sovereignty."
