Veterans arrive at parliament for commission meeting
Veterans attended the fourth meeting of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). One veteran's arrival on crutches drew particular attention.
The fourth meeting of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established within the scope of Turkey's "Terror-Free Turkey" process, was held under the chairmanship of TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of the Turkey War Disabled Veterans, Martyrs' Widows and Orphans, Veterans and Martyrs' Families, Police Martyrs' Families Associations and Foundations, as well as the Diyarbakır Mothers, were heard.
In this context, veterans invited to the commission also entered the Assembly. One veteran's arrival in the hall on crutches was among the notable moments of the meeting.
