Democrat Party deputy Cemal Enginyurt, who resigned from the party, reacted during a live broadcast on Sözcü TV to MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's remarks directed at journalists: "I am announcing that we are taking notes one by one, and when the time comes, we will make them pay for it dearly."
