The resistance of 146 workers who were dismissed after joining the Tek Gıda-İş Union while working at the Polonez food factory in Istanbul's Çatalca district continues.
Democrat Party Deputy Chairman Cemal Enginyurt went to support the Polonez workers, who were dismissed after becoming union members and are resisting in front of the factory, alongside Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Spokesperson Sera Kadıgil.
Giving a speech there, DP's Enginyurt addressed AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
"Look, you've even made a 45-year Cemal Enginyurt protest alongside Sera Kadıgil and communists," said Enginyurt, adding, "Your future is not bright at all. We will win by uniting."
TİP Spokesperson Kadıgil said, "Yes, we are in such a system that it has truly been the fate of Chairman Cemal to stand side-by-side with a communist in a workers' resistance. And it's a good thing it happened."
