A striking claim regarding the municipal administration in Ankara's Etimesgut district has come to light. Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu stated that during the term of the former MHP mayor, Enver Demirel, the previous administration hired their close associates.
HE HIRED 61 RELATIVES
In his statement, Beşikçioğlu said, “During the term of former mayor Enver Demirel, 61 relatives who were high school graduates were hired by the municipality. Moreover, 35 of them were transferred from contract staff to permanent positions and made civil servants.”
