Hulki Cevizoğlu claims AKP and Erdoğan are 'Atatürkists in action'
During a live broadcast, Hulki Cevizoğlu stated, 'Where is Atatürkism practiced? Let's see a picture of it. We have an AK Party and a President who practice Atatürkism in action. He is the one standing up to America, he is the one standing up to Sweden.'
AKP deputy Hulki Cevizoğlu had previously made absurd statements regarding the crisis that occurred during the Super Cup Final in Riyadh.
HE HAD DEFENDED THE SUPER CUP DISGRACE
Cevizoğlu had whitewashed the events in Riyadh by using the expressions, "Why don't you wear an Atatürk t-shirt in Turkey, my friend? Is there any need to stir up the nation just to wear an Atatürk t-shirt?"
In a broadcast he attended on Haber Global, Cevizoğlu made further unfortunate remarks, portraying the AKP and Erdoğan as 'Atatürkists in action'.

Cevizoğlu's statements are as follows:
