Eskişehir Deputy İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu, who resigned from the İYİ Party, has joined the AKP. İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu had announced his resignation from the İYİ Party on November 2 via his social media account.

İYİ Party's Toktaş claimed that Eskişehir Deputy İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu, who resigned from the İYİ Party to join the AKP, received a 50 million dollar 'transfer fee'.

Toktaş, who alleged that İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu received a 50 million dollar 'transfer fee' in exchange for switching to the AKP, also claimed that the mediator was AKP member Mustafa Varank.

Toktaş said the following:

"I will tell you a story of political bribery. One of these players is İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu, and the other player, or rather the mediator, is AKP Bursa Deputy Mustafa Varank. Varank visited Hatipoğlu at his factory in Eskişehir on September 26.

On March 24, 2023, a strategic incentive certificate application for a solar energy glass investment, amounting to 1 billion 35 million TL (approximately 50 million dollars) and including a 25 percent increase, was approved on October 25.
