Tensions rise in Parliament: 'Martyr' debate between Sırrı Sakık and Süleyman Soylu!

Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Ağrı MP Sırrı Sakık made statements in the TBMM regarding the 12 soldiers martyred by PKK terrorists in Northern Iraq.

"War is beautiful to those who do not fight," said Sakık, adding, "Oh parliament, show me. In the 40-year period from the past to the present, have the children or relatives of a single member of parliament died? Never. They do not die. But the cost of the war is borne by the poor children of Anatolia."

"I invite you all to take action with your hearts. I want peace to be built in these lands," said Sakık, to which AKP Istanbul MP Süleyman Soylu responded.

SOYLU: DO NOT INVITE ANYONE TO TAKE ACTION, SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE PKK

Soylu told Sakık, "What are you inviting people to take action for? War happens between states. Get out of here. Do not invite anyone to take action, you speak out against the PKK. I know who you are."

"KNOW YOUR PLACE, YOU RUDE MAN"

Sakık replied to Soylu, "Do not shout, know your place. You rude man. People have been speaking since this morning, and you are there engaging in demagoguery... You know nothing else. You know nothing but to incite these streets and this table."
