Optimar Research Company, chaired by Hilmi Daşdemir, who is known for his proximity to the AKP, has shared the results of its February election poll. The poll, which asked about the 'urban consensus' between the CHP and the DEM Party, also disclosed the vote shares of political parties. According to the poll results, the vote shares of the IYI Party and the DEM Party have seen a significant decline compared to the May 14 elections.
With less than 2 months remaining until the local elections, public opinion research companies continue their polling efforts.
Optimar Research Company, chaired by Hilmi Daşdemir, who is known for his proximity to the government, asked voters about the cooperation between the CHP and the DEM Party in Istanbul's Esenyurt district.

In the poll conducted between February 17-21 with 2,000 participants across 26 provinces, participants were asked, "Do you consider the political cooperation between the CHP and the DEM Party, which they call an urban consensus, to be a new alliance?" While 58.6 percent of participants said "Yes," the rate of those who said "No" was 41.4 percent.

48.4 percent of CHP supporters and 75 percent of DEM Party supporters say that the urban consensus is an alliance. The rate of those who find the alliance correct is only 23.4 percent, while the rate of those who find it incorrect is 76.6 percent.

According to the poll results, while the success rate of the 'urban alliance' between the DEM Party and the CHP is 27 percent, the rate of those who think it will be unsuccessful is 73 percent...

Optimar Chairman Hilmi Daşdemir stated, "The DEM Party supporting Ekrem İmamoğlu in Istanbul provides an advantage for İmamoğlu's victory, but I don't know if it guarantees his win."
In Optimar Research's February poll, the question "If there were a general election today, which party would you vote for?" was also asked.
