There is less than 2 months left until the local elections. As the critical elections approach, public opinion research companies have accelerated their polling efforts.

ANKARA POLL FROM AREA RESEARCH

Most recently, Area Research shared the results of the election poll it conducted in Ankara.

In the study, participants were asked the question, "If there were a parliamentary election today, who would you vote for?"

The citizens' responses were as follows;

Based on Total Voters

• AKP: 26.3%
• CHP: 25.9%
• MHP: 8.4%
• Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 5.7%
• New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 5.2%
• İYİ Party: 3.2%
• DEM: 3.1%
• TIP: 0.6%
• Other: 2%
• Undecided/None: 19.6%

Based on Valid Votes

AKP: 32.7%

CHP: 32.2%

MHP: 10.4%

Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 7.1%

New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah): 6.5%

İYİ Party: 4%

DEM: 3.9%

TIP: 0.7%

Undecided/Other: 2.5%

Looking at the parliamentary elections, it was observed that the vote share of the IYI Party has fallen, while the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) is on the rise.

The study also asked for preferences regarding the mayoral elections.

The results were as follows:

Mansur Yavaş/CHP: 46.9%

Turgut Altınok/AKP: 34.8%

New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) candidate: 2%

Cengiz Topel Yıldırım/İYİ Party: 1.5%

Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) candidate: 1%

Other: 0.2%

Undecided: 13.2%

Based on valid votes

Mansur Yavaş/CHP: 54%

Turgut Altınok/AKP: 40%

New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) candidate: 2.3%

Cengiz Topel Yıldırım/İYİ Party: 1.7%

Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) candidate: 1.2%

Other: 0.7%
