CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for Media, Planning, and Social Media Policies Eren Erdem, whose term ended following Özgür Özel's election as Chairman, posted a 'farewell' message in a WhatsApp group containing journalists.
Erdem stated the following in his message:
"My dear press worker friend, I thank you very much for your contribution to my work during the 5-month period I served. I tried to facilitate your work as much as I could. If there is anyone I have unintentionally hurt, I ask for your blessing. We were together very often, especially with our Ankara correspondents. Thank you for your support and solidarity. I believe that our friend who will take over the media responsibilities will do good work. With love and respect to everyone in this community."
