Istanbul residents are facing a ballot paper approximately 1 meter long.

The size of the ballot paper in Istanbul has been announced as exactly 97 centimeters. 22 parties and 27 independent candidates will compete for Istanbul. The shortest ballot paper will be in Hakkari. 

49 CANDIDATES WILL COMPETE IN ISTANBUL

The Provincial Election Board located at the Istanbul Courthouse has also posted the final list of candidates. Accordingly, 49 candidates, including 22 from parties and 27 independents, will compete for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) mayoralty.

Murat Kurum from the AK Party, Buğra Kavuncu from the IYI Party, Emre Berk Hacıgüzeller from the Homeland Party (Memleket Partisi), Umut Çınar from the Motherland Party (Anavatan Partisi), Nesim Pakır from the Democratic Left Party (DSP), Mehmet Altınöz from the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), Meral Danış Beştaş from the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), Orhan Gökdemir from the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP), Osman Tekin from the Anatolian Union Party (Anadolu Birliği Partisi), Azmi Karamahmutoğlu from the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi), Ziya İncedere from the Communist Movement of Turkey (Türkiye Komünist Hareketi), Cihan Erdoğanyılmaz from the Independent Turkey Party (BTP), Burhanettin Aktürk from the New Turkey Party (Yeni Türkiye Partisi), Ekrem İmamoğlu from the CHP, Mustafa Aytaş from the Rights and Freedoms Party (HAK-PAR), Osman Çelik from the Ocak Party, Muharrem Mutlu from the Justice Unity Party (Adalet Birlik Partisi), Hasan Hüsnü Güler from the Nation Party (Millet Partisi), Hüseyin Işık from the National Path Party (Milli Yol Partisi), İdris Şahin from the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA), Birol Aydın from the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), and İbrahim Okan Özkan from the Patriotic Party (Vatan Partisi) are included in the final list of party-affiliated mayoral candidates.
