Who did Selvi point to? A warning to the AKP about 'dubious names'
Celebrating its 23rd anniversary yesterday, the AKP added 13 mayors and two members of parliament to its ranks. Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi issued a warning to the AKP, stating that 'they pollute the places they go.'
Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi wrote an article regarding the pinning of badges on 15 individuals during the AKP's 23rd anniversary celebration.
Recalling President Erdoğan's words at yesterday's ceremony, “There is a place under the roof of the AK Party for everyone who dreams for Turkey, works for Turkey, produces for Turkey, runs for Turkey, and worries for Turkey. Our doors are wide open to everyone who aspires to serve the nation and adopts the values of the AK Party, and hopefully, they will remain open from now on,” Selvi noted the following:
“After Erdoğan opened this door, participation from the IYI Party, Future Party, New Welfare Party, and DEVA Party will continue. But here, attention must be paid to dubious names. They pollute the places they go.”
