The presidents of the two countries agreed in a phone call to delay this visit by a few days and to prioritize the UN Security Council meeting."
Furthermore, in his statement regarding the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Iranian Foreign Minister Abdollahian expressed that they are in contact and holding consultations with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who is acting as a mediator in the hostage exchange.
