"Upon being elected Chairman... He was pleased that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called and congratulated him.
In the conversation... When this topic came up... Müsavat Dervişoğlu said:
We met once at a reception... We have never had a private meeting.
If the President invites me, I cannot say 'I will not go.'
But... Since I am a newly elected chairman, if the President visits me... I would be pleased... And I would, of course, pay him a return visit.
I do not think there would be any difficulty for the President since I am the one who was newly elected."
