Yapıcıoğlu calls for 'autonomy', People's Alliance remains silent: Ali Mahir Başarır reacts to AKP and MHP! 'Where is your nationalism?'

HÜDA-PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, who was elected as an Istanbul deputy on the AKP lists in the May elections, took the floor during the budget negotiations at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

In his speech at the Parliament, Yapıcıoğlu stated, "We say that governance models such as the state system, autonomy, and federation can be discussed freely with all their positive and negative aspects."

No statement was made by the People's Alliance front, which has targeted the CHP due to the 'joint declaration' crisis in Parliament, regarding Yapıcıoğlu's remarks. On the other hand, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli did not utter a single word about Yapıcıoğlu's autonomy statement during his group meeting held today.

"WHERE IS YOUR NATIONALISM?"

Republican People's Party (CHP) Group Deputy Chair Ali Mahir Başarır reacted to the People's Alliance for remaining silent on Yapıcıoğlu's statements.

Making a statement on his X account, Başarır said, "While the AKP group has deputies to defend the budget, they are having the HÜDA-PAR chairman, who says 'We should freely discuss governance models such as the state system, autonomy, and federation' and 'In my opinion, Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization,' defend their budget! Where is your nationalism? You are making the bones of Gaffar Okkan ache!"
