Claiming that they entered the District Election Board building at 17:00 but that their application was rejected because they reached the floor where the application office is located at 17:02, Yeniden Refah Party's Akhisar mayoral candidate Hızır Şenol stated the following:
"REJECTED BY A 5-TO-2 VOTE"
"We came to the District Election Board immediately after preparing our documents regarding our application and made our submission. Of course, as of the time we made this application, we were at the tax office. As a result of the board's meeting, our participation in the election was rejected by a 5-to-2 vote, with the Republican People's Party (CHP) and the IYI Party voting in favor of our participation, while the AK Party and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), along with 2 civil servants and the YSK District Chair, voted against it."
