YRP's Suat Kılıç issues candidacy warning to CHP as it prepares for primary

Criticizing the CHP's plan to hold a primary on March 23 to determine its presidential candidate, YRP Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç stated, "They should not become rivals to themselves with a 'who should be the candidate?' fight. The opposition's rival is the government. But the image currently being projected is that of 'the CHP is competing against itself'."

YRP's Suat Kılıç issues candidacy warning to CHP as it prepares for primary

Yeniden Refah Party (YRP) Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç made statements regarding the current agenda.

Speaking to Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk, Kılıç issued warnings to the CHP, which is preparing to hold a primary on March 23 to determine its presidential candidate.

Reminding of the proverb "People don't give their daughter to a house in conflict," Suat Kılıç said, "Society prefers those who are not confused."

Stating that the 2023 election results were determined by alliances and that the chaotic situation within the Nation Alliance formed by the Table of Six unsettled the public, Kılıç said, "The opposition must not project a chaotic image while determining its candidate."

Kılıç noted the following:

"The outcome of the 2023 election was determined by alliances. There were going to be seven vice presidents. When one of them added a caveat saying, 'Important decisions cannot be made without my signature,' society became unsettled by the chaotic image. Society does not want chaos. The economy is in poor shape, but people also have debts. They want the government to change, but they do not want chaos.

The opposition must not project a chaotic image while determining its candidate. The opposition feeds off the government's chaos, and the government feeds off the opposition's chaos. But today, the confusion is more prevalent in the opposition.

The government professionally feeds the chaotic image within opposition parties through its media outlets.

They should not become rivals to themselves with a 'who should be the candidate?' fight. The opposition's rival is the government. But the image currently being projected is that of 'the CHP is competing against itself'."
