YSK decision on CHP's ballot paper objection!

The objection filed by the CHP regarding the draw in which the AKP was placed in the 1st position on the ballot paper to be used in the March 31 local elections has been rejected.

The order on the ballot paper will not change.

WHAT HAPPENED?

A draw was held on January 27 at the YSK headquarters with the participation of party representatives to determine the positions of the political parties participating in the election on the joint ballot paper. As a result of the draw, the AKP was placed in the 1st position.

Drawing attention to the fact that the AKP has been in the 1st position in the last two draws, CHP Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz had filed an objection with the YSK, claiming that there was an irregularity.

Yavuzyılmaz had made the following statement on his social media account:

"In the last two draws held by the YSK to determine the order on the ballot papers

The AK Party came out in 1st place among the 35 parties that will appear on the March 31, 2024 local election ballot.

Tayyip Erdoğan had also come out in 1st place in the draw among the 4 candidates on the May 14, 2023 presidential election ballot.

This situation is a 1 in 140 probability!

Furthermore, due to the suspicious situations understood from the video footage of the draw held on Saturday;

Within the legal objection period, I am filing my official objection to this draw as of Monday."
