Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ reacted to the government in a social media post, citing the suicide of a retired police officer and images of foreign currency he claimed were seized in a parking lot.
In his post, Özdağ stated, "Yesterday, a retired police officer in this country committed suicide, saying 'we cannot make ends meet'." In the same post, he included the allegation that "Today, 934 million TL worth of foreign currency was seized in the vehicles of an individual nicknamed 'Kara Haydar from Van' in a parking lot."
Evaluating the two events together, Özdağ used harsh language and stated that they would hold those responsible accountable.
