Zafer Party Deputy Chair Sevdagül Tuncer detained!

Zafer Party Deputy Chair Sevdagül Tuncer was taken from her home by police teams yesterday morning and brought to the police station to provide a statement.

After being taken to the police station, Tuncer stated: "In December 2023, I made a post revealing, with all the documentation, the violence practiced in children's dormitories under the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the irregularities of provincial directors, and the anti-woman, cultist structure. The Ministry did not launch an investigation into these officials; instead, it filed a complaint against me. It changed the duty stations of employees in the relevant provincial directorates, thinking they might have had a role in exposing these. And today, I was taken from my home and brought to give a statement under police escort. The Ministry of Family, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Health, the Social Security Institution (SGK)... There is no institution left that the Palace regime has not corrupted or involved in corruption. We will continue to tell it all... You will not be able to scare us! You will not be able to silence us! The law is not a prostitute for governments!"

Tuncer was released after giving her statement at the Kağıthane Sadabat Police Station.

"SUMMONED TO GIVE A STATEMENT FOR EXPOSING IRREGULARITIES"

A statement regarding Tuncer's detention came from the Zafer Party Istanbul Provincial Presidency.

The statement included the following remarks:

"Because she announced to the public and followed up on the irregularities regarding the Konya Provincial Director of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Zafer Party Deputy Chair Sevdagül Tunçer was taken from her home by police and summoned to the Kağıthane Sadabat Police Station to give a statement. The Zafer Party Istanbul Provincial Organization gathered in front of the Sadabat Police Station under the leadership of Provincial Chair Mr. Hakan Akşit to support Sevdagül Tunçer. Following the procedures at the police station, she was released upon the instruction of the prosecutor's office."
