Zeynel Emre announced: The number of members in the YENİ Party has been revealed

YENİ Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre provided information regarding his party's current membership and municipal figures during a press statement at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Emre announced that the number of people who have become members of the YENİ Party has exceeded 300 thousand.

According to Emre, the number of municipalities that have joined the party has reached 236. Emre stated that this number is expected to rise to 300 in the coming period.

In his statement, Emre also touched upon the council vote at Menderes Municipality, criticizing the process of the municipality's transition to the AKP. Emre pointed to the attitudes of certain council members serving in the CHP, using the examples of Etimesgut and Menderes.

Emre said, "The picture we see in both Etimesgut and Menderes is clear. As a result of council members serving in the CHP voting for the AK Party candidate, Menderes Municipality has moved to the side of the ruling power along with the MHP."

Arguing that these developments point to a political agreement, Emre stated, "Anyone who knows, reads, and understands politics can very easily see that there is an agreement between them. They are moving forward as a part of the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı)."
