RTÜK has decided that journalist Fatih Altaylı and Flu TV, both of which have YouTube channels, will face access bans if they do not apply for a license within 72 hours.
Following the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu, RTÜK, which had begun scrutinizing YouTube channels, announced that penalties were on the way. The decisions made after the meeting have been announced.
Content creators broadcasting on YouTube have faced RTÜK sanctions. It was stated that the channels of Fatih Altaylı and İlker Canikligil must obtain a license within 72 hours, otherwise, an access ban will be implemented.
In addition to Fatih Altaylı, Flu TV has also been given 72 hours to apply for a license for its YouTube broadcasts.
