Central Bank's operating license decision in the Official Gazette

The CBRT's decision to grant an operating license to Qnbpay Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. to operate as a payment institution and its decision to grant an operating license to SBM Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Kuruluşu A.Ş. to operate as an electronic money institution have been published in the Official Gazette. 

The CBRT decisions published in the Official Gazette are as follows:

"-As a result of the evaluation conducted within the scope of Articles 14 and 15 of the Law on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions (Law) No. 6493 dated 20/6/2013;

It has been decided to grant an operating license to Qnbpay Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. as a payment institution to provide the payment services specified in subparagraphs (a), (b), (f), and (g) of the first paragraph of Article 12 of the Law, and subparagraph (c) limited to the authority to accept payment instruments.

-As a result of the evaluation conducted within the scope of Articles 14, 15, 18, and 19 of the Law on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions (Law) No. 6493 dated 20/6/2013;

It has been decided to grant an operating license to SBM Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Kuruluşu A.Ş. as an electronic money institution to provide the payment services specified in subparagraphs (a), (b), (c), (c), (e), (f), and (g) of the first paragraph of Article 12 of the Law, as well as the electronic money issuance service specified in the second paragraph of Article 18 of the Law."
