Çetin Arslan elected as member of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors
Prof. Dr. Çetin Arslan has been elected as a member of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, it was announced that in accordance with Articles 18/20 and 27 of the Law on the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, Çetin Arslan was elected as a member of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) from among the faculty members as a result of the election held during the General Assembly session on 31/01/2024.
Deputy Speaker of the TBMM Bekir Bozdağ announced in the TBMM General Assembly that an election would be held for the vacant membership in the HSK.
In the election; Prof. Dr. Çetin Arslan received 342 votes, Prof. Dr. Bayram Keskin received 22 votes, and Prof. Dr. Ender Ethem Atay received 3 votes.
