DHMİ announces: Temporary air traffic restriction at Esenboğa Airport due to NATO summit
The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) has announced that a temporary air traffic restriction will be implemented at Esenboğa Airport during certain hours on July 7 and 8 as part of the NATO summit.
The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has announced a temporary air traffic restriction for Ankara Esenboğa Airport as part of the NATO summit.

According to the announcement, the restriction will be in effect between 10:00 and 18:00 on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and between 14:00 and 21:00 on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
In its statement, DHMİ noted that civil and military aircraft carrying foreign heads of state and their accompanying official delegations will be exempt from the aforementioned measure.

DHMİ advised that it is important for passengers to follow up-to-date information and arrangements regarding their flights through the relevant airline operators.
