Erdoğan announces appointment of teachers with disabilities

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the opening ceremony of the complex built in his name in Esenyurt.

In his speech, Erdoğan called on young people to stay away from alcohol and cigarettes, stating, "Alcohol, cigarettes... Young people, I beg you, rid yourselves of bad habits, never give them any credit. We will not give any breathing room to the drug dealers who darken the lives of our youth; we will come down on them and grab these scoundrels by the collar. Digital and screen addiction, which is spreading like a plague in society, is also at the top of our agenda. There is no smoking or alcohol in my life," he said.

Stating that 1,381 teachers with disabilities will be appointed in 2025, Erdoğan noted that the ministry will make an announcement shortly.

Following his speech, Erdoğan cut the opening ribbon. He was accompanied by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and former footballer Mesut Özil.
