Erdoğan signs off: Real estate of TEDAŞ and TEİAŞ in many provinces to be privatized

The Presidential Decree regarding the real estate properties included in the scope of privatization was published in today's issue of the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Some of the properties subject to the privatization decision are located in Istanbul's Sarıyer Rumeli Feneri; İzmir's Çeşme; Muğla's Bodrum, Köyceğiz, and Marmaris; Antalya's Kemer, Manavgat, and Alanya; and Ankara's Yenimahalle.
IN WHICH PROVINCES ARE THE PRIVATIZED PROPERTIES LOCATED?
According to the Presidential decree, the real estate properties included in the scope of privatization are located in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Batman, Edirne, Istanbul, İzmir, Kırklareli, Konya, Mersin, and Muğla. Some of the properties subject to the privatization decision are located in Istanbul's Sarıyer Rumeli Feneri; İzmir's Çeşme; Muğla's Bodrum, Köyceğiz, and Marmaris; Antalya's Kemer, Manavgat, and Alanya; and Ankara's Yenimahalle.
With the decision, it has been determined that the properties included in the scope of privatization will be privatized by applying one or more of the methods of 'sale, leasing, revenue sharing model, and other dispositions in accordance with the law, establishment of rights in rem other than ownership, or granting of operating rights.' The privatization procedures will be completed by 31.12.2027.
