HAS THE FAMILY SUPPORT PAYMENT BEEN EXTENDED?
In a statement regarding the matter, the ministry indicated that the news article published in a newspaper titled "Support for the family is a luxury" was entirely "baseless."
In the announcement, which emphasized that clarification was necessary to inform the public correctly, it was stated: "Since the program was time-bound, it ended automatically without the need for a ministerial signature. The Turkey Family Support Program, carried out by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, was launched temporarily in June 2022 and was naturally completed within the determined period. Our Minister of Treasury and Finance has no instructions regarding the termination of the program. Therefore, the news reports in the press do not reflect the truth."
