The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the November inflation data. November inflation was recorded at 2.24 percent, and annual inflation at 47.09 percent.
HOW MUCH WILL THE 5-MONTH INFLATION DIFFERENCE BE?
With the announcement of the November inflation data, the 5-month inflation difference will also become clear. As of October, the 4-month inflation rate had been announced as 12.06 percent.
With the November data, more precise information will be obtained regarding the salary increase that retirees and civil servants will receive. This data may shape the government's salary increase policies and inflation-fighting strategies.

JANUARY 2025 CIVIL SERVANT SALARY INCREASE CALCULATION
Expectations for the January 2025 salary increase for millions of civil servants, civil servant retirees, SGK, and Bağ-Kur retirees are steadily increasing. The inflation data announced in September formed a critical turning point in determining the salary increases for civil servants.
In September, monthly inflation was 2.97 percent, and SGK and Bağ-Kur retirees received raises of 3.23 percent, 2.47 percent, and 2.97 percent in July, August, and September, respectively. These increases reached a total of 8.90 percent, pointing to a significant cumulative raise.
CUMULATIVE EFFECT OF INFLATION
