IUP salary payments have come to the agenda again in November. The IUP salary, which is an education and guidance program carried out by İŞKUR aimed at increasing the employability of unemployed individuals, is provided by İŞKUR. So, when will the IUP salaries be deposited into accounts in November 2024? Have the payment dates for IUP salaries been determined?

WHEN WILL IUP SALARIES BE DEPOSITED?

There is currently no clear date announced for when the salaries of those working under the Labor Force Adaptation Program (IUP) will be deposited. However, salary payments are expected to be transferred to accounts soon. It has been announced that official statements regarding the matter will be made. While payments are calculated based on the duration of participation in the program, it is stated that there will be an increase in salaries as of October and the monthly amount will rise to 12 thousand TL.

HOW MUCH ARE IUP SALARIES?

Participants are paid a daily allowance of 666.75 TL, determined by the Board of Directors for the year 2024, for the days they participate in the program.

In the first 4 weeks of the program, 37.5 hours (5 days) of classes per week will be given as part of intensive training; in the following weeks, 22.5 hours (3 days) of training per week are planned. IUP participants will receive an average monthly payment of 8 thousand TL, and their short-term insurance premiums will also be covered.

WILL İŞKUR IUP SALARIES INCREASE?

The Labor Force Adaptation Program (IUP) salary to be paid to participants is calculated based on the number of days they participate. For 2024, the payment amount for each participation day has been set at 566.73 TL. While a 5-day-a-week and 37.5-hour total working period is applied for the first four weeks, this duration is reduced to 3 days and 22.5 hours per week in the following weeks. It is projected that the salary of a participant working 5 days in October will be approximately 11,334 TL.

WHAT ARE THE IUP PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS?

Individuals who wish to participate in the IUP must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey and be registered with İŞKUR.

In addition, applicants must be 18 years of age or older, not receive a disability or old-age pension, and must not have worked in an insured job within the last year.

Furthermore, they must not be benefiting from active labor force services or unemployment insurance offered by İŞKUR, and their household income must be within certain limits.

Applications from women, individuals with disabilities, former convicts, and individuals injured in the fight against terrorism will be evaluated with priority.

Working elsewhere outside of the IUP does not pose any obstacle for participants.
