Kadir Özkaya's election as President of the Constitutional Court published in the Official Gazette
The decision regarding the election of Kadir Özkaya as President of the Constitutional Court has been published in the Official Gazette.
In the decision published in today's issue of the Official Gazette, it was stated that Kadir Özkaya was elected President of the Constitutional Court in the election held yesterday, in accordance with Article 146 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey and Article 12 of Law No. 6216 on the Establishment and Rules of Procedure of the Constitutional Court.
Özkaya had secured an absolute majority by receiving the votes of 9 of the 15 members of the Constitutional Court, including the president.
