The application process for the rental social housing project implemented by TOKİ in Istanbul has been completed. Following the review of applications for the 1,071 units to be rented out in the first phase, the beneficiaries will be determined by a lottery method.
The lottery draw is planned to take place within October 2026. However, the exact day and time information for the lottery has not yet been announced. Once the application evaluations are finalized, the schedule for the draw, which will be held in the presence of a notary, is expected to be shared via an official announcement.
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum had also announced that following the completion of the application process, the lottery would be held in October and the first keys would be handed over.
